I have been an avid reader of this paper for a long time and I was surprised to learn about all the things you have put in the paper about Ernesto Guevara aka “Che”. For the longest time, I had the impression that he was simply a murder in the Cuban Revolution, someone who Fidel Castro could rely on to do the work. After seeing some of the recent articles, I am led to believe now that in some ways he was a victim. Especially after learning about the betrayal of trust done by Castro, I feel some sympathy for the revolutionary. One must wonder what Che’s and Castro’s relationship was like. It seems to me like they had a severe falling out. I suppose it isn’t so surprising considering Che’s behavior towards Cuban allies. However, there is one thing I have always wondered was how Ernesto became Che. In all I have read, I cannot understand what made Ernesto become so extreme in his ideals. It’s amazing. It is quite a transformation to become a revolutionary after being a doctor. I’m hoping more will be released which we reveal more about this interesting character.
